At Reading Without Borders, we commission stories from smaller publishing houses that specialize in creating award-winning inclusive content. We're with them throughout the process to manage the project and ensure the highest level of quality for the stories you help us create.
LITTLE STAR PUBLISHING
Little Star is an independent publishing company of stories that illuminate the human experience or shed light on our world. Recent releases include “medium normal ingrid” by William S. Tate, a YA novel about forgiveness and ghosts, and “Locked Out,” a memoir by Alfred L. Cobbs about Prince Edward County, Virginia, closing its schools rather than integrate them after the Brown v Board of Education decision.
PENNY CANDY BOOKS
Penny Candy's mission is to publish children's literature that reflects the diverse realities of the world we live in, both at home and abroad. This means seeking out books by and about people that include subjects that speak to and from a broad range of human experience.
Zoozil's interactive books let young readers go back in history and make key decisions for the characters. They’re more than just books—they’re journeys through time that readers never forget. Zoozil combines the best elements of interactivity, compelling information, and exciting storytelling to captivate readers from grades K-8.
